God's grace

so today I did some charitable things and talked to some homeless men.
for privacy sake we will call them Carter and Angelo.
So I ask them where their families were and how long they were in DC.
I think carter told me he's been in DC for 30 years and Angelo told me he was born there in 56 so for almost 54 years.
Carter had family elsewhere with 2 sisters and parents and he goes back there every year. We chatted a bit about how they came to be homeless and then I had to go and catch the metro.
I totally forgot to mention National Student Partnership and seriously need to do that.
Angelo was a musician and could play 23 instruments but his instruments are in a pawn shop.
I praised God for blessing me with everything that I have and hope God will watch and bless over these men.

Yesterday I participated in the smile day to set a record at the archives metro entrance which was fun. I need to smile more.
